Description
This necklace features an amazing rare bronze Roman Wheel pendant dating between the 2nd and 4th century CE. It was discovered by a metal detectorist in Ukraine. It is wrapped in hematite colored copper wire. The larger beads are ancient Roman Carnelian crystal beads dating between the 2nd and 4th century CE. The blue, green and clear Roman era glass beads were hand cut and hand drilled from ancient Roman perfume containers, Roman glass decorative objects, Roman Glass vassals Roman Glass cups bracelets that have sustained the travels of time found along the historic region of silk road central Central Asia Afghanistan. The authenticity of these beads can be seen in their unique patina endowed by the mineral deposited where the glass lay buried for centuries. The copper patina toggle clasp is handmade in Mykonos, Greece.
The necklace is approximately 24 inches (61 cm).
