A first for me is this type of wall decor which was created through inspiration of Neolithic and native life and spirituality. The center piece is the high quality Ostrich leg leather which has painted and sealed onto it a Stave I created which I call Skógur Andar “Forest of Spirits” (description below). It is attached using hemp twine to a branch wood frame made of Blackthorn wood naturally sourced from a Witch in Ukraine and Apple wood branches. Adorned on this piece are Black-Red Obsidian and white Agate from Oregon, an animal bone fossil from Florida and animal bones naturally sourced by the same Witch in Ukraine.
This Stave is to call upon the Forest and Land spirits for protection, guidance during rituals or even just to be in their presence.
