Shark Spirit Fossil Nautical Wall Decor

Out of stock

This first of its kind for me is dedicated to the spirit of the Sharks, one of my favorite marine life of the seas. The Great White shark silhouette is made up of over 100 real shark tooth fossils. These fossil shark teeth are ethically collected on the beach of Blind Pass Park on Manasota Key, Florida. All of the shark teeth fossils in this area come from the Miocene Epoch which makes them 5 to 25 million years old. The shark species teeth are from Snaggletooth, Tiger, Mako, Bull, Lemon and Sand Shark including the small Megalodon tooth on the right side.

The wood I used is high quality African mahogany grown in Hawaii. Below the shark decorated onto this piece are driftwood and sea shells from Washington, sea shells from Florida and agate from the famous Agate beach of Oregon.

Approximately 12.5 inches (31.75 cm) by 5.5 inches (14 cm).
