Description

This handmade handbag is inspired by the ancient Picts of Scotland. It is made from ethically sourced Deer and Bison leather which is reinforced with a layer or cow leather. Burned onto the handbag are various Pictish symbols found carved on stones throughout Scotland including a well known one called the Double Disc Z-Rod which some theorize may have to do with life and death. The ethically sourced Deer jaw bone has engraved, painted and sealed onto Pictish symbols. Attached to the front is a natural beach hag stone from Florida. The handbag features four smaller pockets; one on the front, two inside the main compartment and my signature knife pocket on the closure flap. The tow exterior pockets fasten closed using pieces of Irish oak bog wood that is between 3,000 to 8,000 years old. The entire handbag exterior has been treated with Laston Guard which is a premium stain guard and water repellent.

Dimensions are approximately 12 inches (30.5 cm) by 11 inches (27.9 cm) by 4 inches (10.2 cm).
