Description
This dedicated altar piece is for the Norse Goddess Hel. In an Icelandic Runic inscription around the base it says, “Kæra móðurgyðja Helhiem, ég heiðra forsjá þína yfir hinum látnum” which means dear mother goddess in Helhiem, I honor your guardianship over the dead. The ethically sourced raccoon skull sits atop a very fine round of Pacific yew wood from Oregon. On it is burned a Myrk-Bindrune for the Goddess Hel. On the top and around the base are various stones and quartz such as smokey and phantom quartz, black onyx, sea jasper, amethyst, black tiger’s eye and more.
Dimensions are 6 inches (15.2 cm) by 6 inches (15.2 cm) by 8 inches (20.3 cm).
