Description
I have always been interested in the neolithic period of history and so with that I decided to create a necklace dedicated to that period of time. This necklace features a very fine Turritella fossil that is approximately 65 million years old which I wrapped in bronze colored copper wire. The “stone” looking beads are actually fossilized Stegodon bones which are approximately 11.6 million years old. I also used ancient desert agate beads which were found in the Gobi desert of Mongolia and lastly are vintage handmade sea glass beads from Ghana, Africa. The handmade copper patina toggle clasp is from Mykonos, Greece.
Approximately 29 inches (73.7 cm) long.
