Greek God Ares Tribute Santorini Marble

Description

Using Santorini stone from Greece, which is one of the most premium white marbles in the world, I made this piece as a dedication to the Greek God Ares. Ares is the God of war and spirit of battle. On the stone is a symbol for a Greek war helmet to symbolize the God along with his name in Greek. The stone was carefully engraved then the engraving was painted over and finally sealed with polyurethane. I left the rest untouched to keep its raw feel and look which in the light sparkles.
