Driftwood Viking Petroglyph Wall Decor

This wall decor is dedicated to the seafarers of the Viking Age. The driftwood was found on the shore of the Bay of Quinte, Ontario, Canada. Burned onto it is a Viking longship petroglyph and above in Younger Futhark Runes it says, “Réttr veðr, fylgð haf” which in Old Norse roughly translates to Fair winds, following sea(s). Decorated on it is a fish bone from a Witch in Ukraine, a sand dollar from Cape Cod, sea glass from Osaka, Japan, sea shells from Washington and beach stones from the Salish Sea.
