Description
This handbag is my first collaboration with another craftsman which is Bear Leather Works. I was inspired by the Anglo-Saxon period of history in England during the process of creating this one. The featured leather work on the large front pocket was handcrafted by Bear Leather Works which features a Bear and Wolf, the Runes Uruz and Laguz along with fine detailed designing. This handbag is put together using the finest premium waxed distressed blood-ox goat leather, Italian leather as the inner liner of the main compartment, lambskin leather, 2.0 mm cow hide and premium ethically sourced Beaver fur pelt. On the front attached as a talisman is an ethically sourced and decorated Black Bear tooth. The closure flap has one of my signature “knife pockets” and there are four more pockets inside for extra storage. Along with bronze d-rings and swivel lobster claw clasps I also added something special to the adjustable shoulder strap. Burned onto it in an Anglo-Frisian Runic inscription it says, “Ich gehe mit dem Geist des Wolfes und des Bären”. Which is German for I walk with the spirit of the Wolf and the Bear. All exterior leather has been treated with a professional water repellent and stain guard.
Approximately 12 inches (30.5 cm) by 10.5 inches (26.7 cm) by 4 inches (10.2 cm).
